The Aonach Eagach Ridge, situated just south of Glencoe village, is renowned for being one of the most demanding mountain scrambles in Scotland. This ridge features two prominent Munros: Meall Dearg and Sgòrr nam Fiannaidh. Adventurers can either traverse the entire ridge or summit each Munro individually without completing the full route.

The traverse is distinguished by its sustained technical challenges, including steep descents, razor-sharp arêtes, and narrow pathways that demand exceptional scrambling skills.
